Borel Burn Scar
The Borel Burn Scar is currently in Advisory status. Forecasted storms could bring heavy rain and possible flooding within the Borel Fire burn scar. Stay alert and be ready to act if needed, even without official warnings. Most water is expected to remain within channels; however, roads, bridges, and property could experience moderate impacts from mud or debris. Floodwaters can rise quickly. Do not walk or drive through flooded areas—it is extremely dangerous.

Zones currently under Advisory status: 736, 737-A, 738

We encourage residents to Know Your Zone by visiting protect.genasys.com and signing up for notifications in case an elevated status becomes necessary—particularly in areas recently affected by wildfires, which are more vulnerable to mudslides and debris flows.

Tehachapi and Frazier Park
Tehachapi and Frazier Park are not currently in advisory status. However, these mountain regions have the potential for excessive rainfall that could impact infrastructure and present a flood hazard. Please remain informed about weather conditions in your area and be prepared in case of sudden changes.
