Incident Narrative

BAKERSFIELD, Calif., At approximately 2:06 p.m. this afternoon, Kern County Fire Department and Bakersfield Fire Department were dispatched to the area of Washington St. and E. Brundage Ln. for reports of a building on fire.

KCFD Battalion 4 arrived on scene and reported a warehouse, approximately 30,000 square feet in size, fully involved in fire. Firefighters quickly worked to isolate the structure, utilizing large hose lines and an aerial stream from a ladder truck to protect nearby buildings and prevent fire spread.
