Incident Narrative

On Sunday morning, October 17th, our Kern County Firefighters were up early performing ladder drills behind a supermarket in Lake Isabella. Ground ladders are a vital tool used on the fire ground during emergency incidents. They have many operational uses including: access/egress, search and rescue, ventilation, hose lines, and rapid intervention crews. Every Fire Engine in the Kern County Fire Department carries ladders designed for specific uses.
