Kern County ECC received calls on Saturday for a fire in the area of the Rio Bravo Jasmine Co Gin. On arrival fire crews found a very large multi story structure fully involved with fire. The response was augmented to meet the need of the incident and crews focused on preventing the well established fire from extending beyond the structure involved. The fire was brought under control after 2 hours. 

Contributing factors were:

late detection

poor water supply 

long distances from a fire station 

No injuries were reported.
