BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — On July 2, 2025, Kern County Firefighters were dispatched to a reported RV fire near Oswell Street and Alloway Lane. KCFD Battalion 4 arrived on scene to find an RV fully engulfed in flames, with the fire extending to a nearby duplex, prompting a second alarm. As resources from KCFD and the Bakersfield Fire Department arrived, they confirmed no residents were inside the structure while initiating an aggressive fire attack.

Multiple hose lines were deployed to protect adjacent structures and prevent the fire from spreading further. After achieving a knockdown of the fire, crews conducted extensive overhaul and mop-up operations at the rear of the structure, where the bulk of the burning material was located, to ensure complete extinguishment. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is undetermined.
