Tehachapi, CA
At approximately 6:00 P.M., Kern County Fire Department received a call for an aircraft down North of Mills Street and Highway 58. Fire crews arrived on scene and with assistance of Kern County Fire Helicopter 407, crews were able to find the downed plane. Fire, police and paramedics were able to confirm one fatality. The crash will be under investigation with Tehachapi City Police Department as the lead investigative authority.
