KERN COUNTY, Calif. | Tuesday morning, one of our firefighters was involved in a vehicle accident while driving to work. Kern County firefighters, as well as emergency personnel from partner agencies, responded to the accident and provided immediate care. The firefighter was then transported via air ambulance to a local area hospital. The firefighter remains hospitalized with serious injuries in stable condition. We will share further information when appropriate.
