BAKERSFIELD, Calif. | The Kern County Fire Department (KCFD) is preparing to welcome the next generation of firefighters and invites interested applicants to attend the Fire Recruit Assistance Program Hiring Event on Tuesday, April 1.
This event is designed to provide valuable information about a career with the KCFD, explain the hiring process, and offer attendees the chance to speak directly with current firefighters about what it takes to join the team.
Attendees will receive details about the qualifications required, testing, and academy training. Firefighters and Kern County Human Resources personnel will be available to answer questions.
