The Kern County Fire Department is partnering with multiple agencies across the county to host the residents of our mountain communities to ensure they are prepared for winter, after the Borel Fire.
We will be reviewing how wildfires can contribute to flash floods, how to stay informed through emergency notifications like Genasys Protect, and have local resources available to answer questions.
It will take place on December 14th, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Woodrow Wallace Middle School (3240 Erskine Rd., Lake Isabella, CA 93240).
