KCFD Station 67 Receives New Fire Engine

BAKERSFIELD, Calif., Friday afternoon, a new Pierce Enforcer, Type 1 fire engine was delivered to Kern County Fire Department Station 67.  Kern County firefighters were joined by District 1 Supervisor Phillip Peters to celebrate. The crew of firefighters at Station 67 excitedly examined the engine and the compliment of new tools on board the work horse. This brand-new equipment has been thoughtfully designed to accommodate firefighters as they provide a full spectrum of emergency services to the community. In keeping with tradition, new Engine 67 crossed the threshold of the engine house for the first time, pushed by firefighters. We are grateful to all those who devoted countless hours to making this new fire engine possible. It is officially in service and will serve the Rosedale area and Kern County for many years to come.
