KERN COUNTY, Calif., The Kern County Fire Department is proud to announce the successful completion of the 24-2 Recruit Academy. Since its commencement on March 25, 2024, this rigorous program has shaped our newest recruits into the future of our “All Risk” fire department.
Over the past months, these recruits have faced a demanding curriculum under the guidance of our department’s finest instructors. Despite the challenges posed by long days and the extremes of cold and scorching heat, they have mastered every aspect of modern firefighting.
Tonight, we celebrate their perseverance, skill, and dedication as they graduate from the academy. Their achievements are a testament not only to their hard work but also to the tireless efforts of the dozens of fire personnel who have played an integral role in their training.
We are thrilled to welcome these outstanding individuals into the ranks of the Kern County Fire Department and look forward to the exceptional service they will provide to our community.
