MCFARLAND, Calif., Overcast skies and cold weather could not dampen spirits Tuesday, as McFarland city leaders and District 4 Supervisor, Chairman David Couch, joined Kern County firefighters in receiving a new fire engine. The new engine, along with its full complement of new equipment, is officially in service and will serve McFarland for years to come.
