KCFD Station 14 Receives New Fire Engine

MOJAVE, Calif., Since 1939 the Kern County Fire Department has been providing fire protection and life safety services to the citizens of Mojave. Wednesday marked another important service milestone, as the city received a new Fire Engine. The new Fire Engine was welcomed by community members, fire personnel, District 2 Supervisor Zack Scrivner, and California Highway Patrol personnel. All were excited to see the new Fire Engine that will carry on serving the 427 square mile response area, replacing the current Fire Engine manufactured in 2005.
