FEMA Disaster Recovery Information

 

KERN COUNTY, Calif., Through coordinated efforts between local, state, and federal agencies, FEMA activated a Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) in Lake Isabella and McFarland. The DRC provided a physical place where residents could get information on disaster assistance programs and services, and aid survivors of recent severe weather and floods. Representatives from FEMA, the Small Business Administration (SBA), and other agencies were on site to provide information and answer questions.

 

Both physical DRCs closed on May 13th; however, residents may still apply for assistance at the link below.

FEMA Individual Assistance has been made available to assist individuals with damage sustained from the disaster. The application deadline for constituents is July 20, 2023, with the incident period beginning February 21, 2023.
