KERN COUNTY, Calif., Due to increased demand, the following sand pile location has been added by Kern County Public Works:
Frazier Park
-The “Y” at Cuddy Valley Rd and Mil Potrero Hwy

KERN COUNTY, Calif., In anticipation of heavy rainfall forecasted throughout Kern County, the following locations have received deliveries of sand by Kern County Public Works. For individuals working to prepare their property against potential nuisance flooding, sandbags can be purchased at local hardware stores and then filled with sand at the following locations:
Lamont
– 10300 San Diego St
Lake Isabella
– Tank Park, 4901 Lake Isabella Blvd
– Senior Center, 6401 Lake Isabella Blvd
– Mt. Mesa, McCray Rd just south of Dogwood Ave
Walker Basin
– Walser Rd at Dailey Rd
Lebec
– Lebec Rd and Interstate 5
McFarland
– Elmo Hwy and Scheitlin Ave
Tehachapi
– Highline Rd just east of Tucker Rd
Community needs will be monitored continuously, and should the need arise additional locations may be added.
