On Sunday, November 27, 2022 we lost Mark Schmidt, Firefighter and family member of the Kern County Fire Department.
Memorial services will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2022 at Valley Baptist Church (4800 Fruitvale Ave, Bakersfield CA 93308). The memorial will start at 1 p.m. and attendance is open to the public and media. It has been asked that all attending should respectfully limit pictures and video to outside the facility only.
In lieu of flowers, a Go Fund Me (Gofundme.com search Mark Schmidt) has been set up for any wishing to contribute to medical and funeral expenses.
