Taft, CA

On September 28, 2017 at 7:00 a.m., Kern County Fire Department received a call for a structure fire located at the 300 block of Naylor Ave. A reinforced structure response was dispatched and upon arrival, crews were faced with a 1500 square foot single family dwelling that was fully involved. One adjacent home sustained some damage due to the fire but fire crews were able to have full accountability on all residents and they were also able to save the majority of the home and protect the residences belongings. Crews made an aggressive attack on the main body of the fire and controlled the fire in 25 minutes.  No injuries were reported and the fire is under investigation.
